Hitler followed a vegetarian diet. At social events he sometimes gave graphic accounts of the slaughter of animals in an effort to make his dinner guests shun meat.
Others say, that Hitler banned vegetarian organizations in Germany and the occupied countries. He had a fondness for Bavarian sausages and also ate ham, liver and game[1].
