Vegan chocolate cake with raspberries.

Vegan chocolate cake can be very easy to make. Here is a simple recipe.


  • 1 mug of self raising flour
  • 1/4 mug of oil
  • 1/2 mug of soya/rice/almond or coconut milk
  • 1/2 mug of sugar
  • 1/4 mug of dairy-free drinking chocolate powder
  • juice of 1/2 lime
  • zest of an orange
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • pinch of sea salt
  • (optional healthy option) tablespoon of chia seeds (for omega-3)


Mix together and cook in an oven cake tin at 175 C for about 25-30 minutes. Check inside if it is cooked with cocktail stick (if comes out clean it's done).

To make deep cake make 3 layers or you can pour mix into cupcake cases but then cook for 30% less time, e.g. about 15-20 minutes.
