This is one of Beirut's few organic restaurants. It's a nicely decorated place that has a very foody and hipster atmosphere.
Every day they invite someone from the different Lebanese regions and cultural communities to cook. By this the restaurant provides a nice culinary overview of the country's diversity and it can be seen as one (but by far not the only one) important institution against the current tendency to Western fast food.
You can choose between the plat du jour and the buffet. Prices for both are with 49000 LL for the buffet and 25000 LL for the meal quite high compared to other (also organic) places.
Unfortunately, their meals contain a lot of meat and other animal products, but according to their information they always have some vegan dishes on offer. Ask how this can be arranged. It is to be hoped that they provide more - and finally exclusively - vegan meals which shouldn't be a problem considering the many vegan traditional Lebanese dishes.
