Amino acids (in the form of proteins) after water are the largest component (after [water]) residing in human muscles and tissues. Beyond their roles as proteins, amino acids help in a number of other bodily functions such as transmitting neuro signals and biosynthesis.

Nine Amino acids are called ‘essential’ for humans because they are not produced in the human body and so must be absorbed via food intake. Other amino acids may be necessary at different ages or for specific medical conditions.

Amino Acids are also present in other products such as [biodegradable plastic].
