Banana is the common name for a sweet-when-ripe fruit, cultivated in tropical regions around the world. The banana plant is the largest herbaceous flowering plant.

Bananas have a lot of vitamin B6, vitamin C, and most notably potassium.

A very convenient snack on the go.

Uses

Both the skin and inner part can be eaten. Western cultures generally eat the inside raw and throw away the skin. Some Asian cultures eat both the skin and the inside cooked. Each fruit has many strings that run between the skin and the inner part.

Beer can be made by fermenting the juice of certain cultivars in Africa.

Quick recipe

Freeze your bananas (without peeling them), than take them out, peel them and put them in the blender. Best vegan Ice cream ever!
