Brunei is a small country in Asia, close to Malaysia and Indonesia. Although veganism is not very well known in the country, it is not difficult to find vegan food in restaurants or grocery stores. There are several 100% vegetarian places in the capital city Bandar Seri Begawan that have many options for vegans. Since Brunei is an Islamic state, one can also look for Arabic food restaurants that should serve falafel and hummus.
