Flaxseed contains a lot of omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for a healthy diet.
A good way to use flaxseed is by grinding it, for example in a blender and adding it as topping to a meal. For example muesli or salads.
The reason you grind is, is that the oils are better absorbed in the body.
