Monsanto

Monsanto is a company based in [America] that deals in agrochemicals and agricultural biotechnology. They produce genetically engineered ([GE]) seed and a herbicide called Roundup.

The company recently changed hands and is now owned by Bayer (a Pharmeceutical corporation).

Monsanto has received a lot of negative press for GMO controversies particularly in the growth of soy. Argentina and Brazil are just some of the countries that have been effected by this.

Monsanto has created multiple sites of mass rubbish known as “superfund” sites. These areas have been known to damage the health of employees and residents in the nearby vicinity.
