Raw veganism goes one step further than veganism. Food is not supposed to be heated too much. There are a variety of branches within the raw vegan movement which include but are not limited to Gourmet Raw Food Preparation, Followers of the 80/10/10 approach, Fruitarians and others. Some raw food enthusiasts are willing to use dehydrators, blenders, food processors and many other implements to create new dishes and old favorites with raw ingredients. Others eschew much if not all mechanized food processing and seek to eat raw fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds in their completely natural state.
