Some have trouble remaining vegan.  Others take it pretty seriously and never waiver.  I think the continuing association with family and friends is important but I've seen accounts of some letting go of all those associations due to their life path with veganism and I do think that is a viable approach.  Excellent points on the main page in terms of finding or creating your community of vegans.  This appears to be the answer.  Get a good support group that is oriented as you are and then make forays out into the public to educate and inspire.  Return to your vegan family to recharge.
