Tokyo is the capital and the biggest city of Japan. Even though veganism is not very widespread here, Tokyo has many vegan or vegan-friendly restaurants to choose from. For those who want to socialize, there is vegan meet-up event held every month.

Tokyo has around 30 100% vegan restaurants. Most of them are concentrated in the central part of city. Keep in mind that finding places in Tokyo can be challenging because of complicated address system.
