Vegan CNY is a Grassroots organization supporting animal advocacy and community in Central New York.

History

Founded in 2018 by five vegans seeking to formalize the growing presence of the vegan community in Syracuse, NY. They soon expanded their reach to the Central New York area, encompassing the greater Syracuse, Cortland, Auburn, Utica, Rome, Watertown, and Ithaca areas.

Mission

Vegan CNY, Inc. supports the liberation of all non-human animals by educating the public about animal rights philosophy and specific animal issues, raising awareness - and expressing dissent - against examples of exploitation and abuse, and supporting the advocacy community.

Advocating for animals while building a community of advocates. Sharing vegan info, local vegan events, organizations and businesses, hosting events, and more.

Syracuse Vegfest, held in OCT at the NYS Fairgrounds.
