- Corn (French: Maïs)
- Rice(French: Riz)
- Barley (French: Orge)
- Oat (French: Avoine)
- Millet (French: Millet, Petit mil)
- Sorgo (French: Sorgho, Grand mil)
- Rye (French: Seigle)
Some other grains are often called céreals or pseudo cereals even if they don't belong to this plant familly :
