Animal Rights National Conference 2020
The Animal Rights National Conference 2020 was a planned Animal Rights National Conference that was supposed to take place July 16-19 at the Hyatt Regency in the Lloyd District neighborhood in NE Portland, Oregon[1].
On April 18 they announced the followong: Amidst the uncertainty of the current COVID-19 situation, planning for the in-person Animal Rights 2020 National Conference scheduled for July 16-19 in Portland, OR is currently on hold. With the expectation that large gatherings in July may still be unsafe, we are organizing an exciting virtual event with inspiring speakers and networking opportunities.
We appreciate your patience and ask that you refrain from seeking refunds until we announce a final decision. The virtual conference will carry reduced registration fees, and current registrants will have the option of receiving a full refund or directing a portion of it towards attending the virtual conference.
Overview
100 presenters from more than 60 organizations across the movement will take part in a variety of educational and networking opportunities; including:
- activist support workshops

- 100+ exhibits (free to visitors)
- film screenings
- Panel Sessions
All daytime sessions will allow for at least 15 minutes of audience Q&A.
