As of 2015 it looks like McDonald's is trying to polish its image and it's actively promoting its vegetarian burgers in cities like Berlin. McDonald's is surely evil for its practices, but possibly slightly less evil than Burger King, which doesn't even have a veggie burger on its menu in Germany.
