Quiche is a savory pie made out of pastry crust filled with vegetables or other ingredients. Traditionally it is not a vegan dish because meat and dairy are very often used as a filling. However, it is easy to make quiche without any animal products at home. Some vegan restaurants in Europe and North America also have one or two types of quiches on their menu.

Vegan quiche is usually filled with tofu mixed with all kinds of vegetables and/or mushrooms.
